Histrionic - A deliberate display of emotion for effect

I get very demonstrative and I often do try to tailor my behavior to what I think should be the right emotional response. I also know that it's connected to my sex addiction, which often turns my affect inside-out. Often my reality situation leaves me disgruntled, bored, and impatient because it doesn't live up to the elation I could have received from the addiction.
In my faith in God and Christ, I remind myself that my body is lying to me, as one of the three sources of temptation (the other two being the devil and the World) and that reality only exists in Christ. I look around me for signs of True Life and search them thoroughly for satisfaction and positive feelings.
